Previous Experience
Dr. Kanigsberg has been in full-time private practice at Centrepointe Professional Services since it opened in 1994. Prior to that, he worked for twelve years providing clinical services to children and their parents in the Children’s Outpatient Department of the Royal Ottawa Hospital. He also served as Director of Psychology and Director of Psychology Training at the Royal Ottawa.
Type and cost of services provided
Dr. Kanigsberg provides services to children, teenagers, individual adults, and parents. This includes the assessment and treatment of learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD), as well as other conditions such as anxiety and depression.
Clinically, Dr. Kanigsberg has developed a particular interest and expertise in the area of ADHD and sees both children and adults with this disorder. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kanigsberg has been involved for many years with various community ADHD support and advocacy organizations, such as CHADD and CADDAC.

Approximate waiting time
Initial appointments are usually available within three weeks, but this can vary according to the time of year. The completion of assessments can take from one month to three months, again varying seasonally.
