Clinical Psychologist

I am a clinical psychologist licensed to provide assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults. I am currently limiting my practice to the provision of psychoeducational assessments of children, adolescents, and young adults. I have a special interest in the assessment and remediation of Learning Disorders, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, executive functioning deficits, and social-emotional-behavioural difficulties.

Type and Cost of Services:

A comprehensive psychoeducational assessment costs $2420 (11 hours at $220/hour). Each assessment includes and initial parent interview, consultation with teachers (as required), six to eight hours of testing, a written report, and a feedback meeting to review the results of the assessment.

Methods of Payment:

Cash, Debit, Visa, and MasterCard are accepted. Although not covered by OHIP, psychological services are usually covered by supplemental health insurance. Payment is due when the service is provided.

Approximate wait time:

Initial appointments are usually available within four weeks, but this may vary according to the time of year. Following the initial appointment, assessments are usually completed within eight weeks.

  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Queen’s University

Clinical Experiences:

I have experience providing psychological services to preschoolers, children, adolescents, and adults. My recent focus has been on school psychology: I have been employed part-time with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, providing psychological and psychoeducational assessments of children, adolescents and young adults, and providing counselling to high school students.
