Areas of Practice:
Bob currently works privately as a Managing Director of Northstar Consulting and part-time on the Autism Team at the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. Northstar is a transdisciplinary team of professionals working with individuals with complex needs to support the acquisition of skills in the areas of social communication, self-regulation, and executive functioning. Northstar provides social skills groups for young adults between the ages of 14-17 years of age as well as 18-25 years of age. Individual consultation is also available in order to support each individual reach their full potential and transition successfully into adulthood.
Bob began his career as a behavior consultant in 1994 and began practicing as a Speech Language pathologist in 2001. He has used his knowledge of both Applied behavior Analysis (ABA) and Communication Disorders to support students and young adults in both school and residential settings. Bob is also trained in Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS) and DIR:Floortime. He is a registered member of the Ontario Association For Applied Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA) and the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
